Devil Satan 6 was a Gyandlar captain employed by Gadess in the search for the Hyribead. The combined form of team leader One with Two, Three, Four, Five and Six, Devil Satan 6 was first unleashed to stop Kenryū after the Gyandlar had killed Kirai Stol. When Rom Stol instead called up Baikanfu, Devil Satan 6 retreated along with Grujios and other surviving Gyandlar troops. Rising Storm - the Fighting Style of Justice! Further defeats to Baikanfu followed at Sado Fortress Wolf Sword! Call Forth the Thunder of Courage!, Vira Steal the Metal Laster! and Sunsua Devil Trap - The Enslaved Village followed before Devil Satan 6 was superseded by a succession of other Gyandlar captains. However, as they kept dying Devil Satan 6's record started to look a lot better, and Grujios recalled them for his planned trap at the Sky Castle, where it battled Blue Jet, Blackbird Robo, Harrier Robo and Falcon Robo - unaware that this was a diversion to draw it from its' guard post to allow Rom, Triple Jim and Canary to get inside. Devil Satan 6 was again called up to help the Gyandlar's ongoing siege of Emerald City, and actually managed to keep things even with Baikanfu in a fight until Triple Jim, Kendō Robo and Heli Transer were able to resupply the city's defenders with ammunition. After taking direct hits from the other Machine Robo, Devil Satan 6 was defeated again. When the Machine Robo finally breeched the Gyandlar mothership Devil Satan 6 was deployed to try and contain Baikanfu. This time when defeat loomed Devil Satan 6 went for a suicidal tactic, bear-hugging his opponent and revealing a hidden reservoir of acid, intending to destroy them both. However, Baikanfu was able to evade the hold and the Gyandlar was seemingly destroyed. Baikanfu - Cry of Anger! Another Devil Satan 6 was then seemingly raised for the desperate defence, but was overwhelmed by Gattai Saurer and the Battle Base. Mighty Fortress, Heavenly Sword - Jet Don't Die!

Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos[edit | edit source]

  • Devil Satan 6 (1986)
    • ID number: MRG
    • Accessories: none
Devil Satan 6 was released by Bandai in the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos toyline, a giant robot made up of the six members - Gillhead and Groguillon form the body, Death Claw and Barabat form the arms, Eyegos and Blugoda form the legs. Devil Satan 6 was only available in a giftset. Like Machine Puzzler, Devil Satan requires no additional parts, with the head, hands/claws and feet all formed from the individual members. Unlike Puzzler he has some rigidity, being solid enough to make use of the articulated shoulders, elbows and claws and very low on weak points, with all the connections being secure and sturdy. However the trade-off for this is the simpler team members, which - aside from Death Claw and Groguillon - have much less articulation than any other figures in the range of their size. As with Puzzler the arm and leg components are reversible if desired.

Notes[edit | edit source]

DevilSatan6Prototype.jpg
  • A prototype version of Devil Satan 6 featuring a different head design was featured in some catalogues.
  • The toyline's names for the six members were not used in the cartoon, where the individuals were simply referred to by number.
  • The combined Devil Satan 6 used One's voice.
  • Unlike the Gyandlar Devils, instances of the Devil Satan 6 troopers being shown as mass-produced were rare but did exist. However, only one of the combined forms was ever seen on screen at a time.
  • In the Revenge of the GoBots dub they were renamed Diablotrons.
  • Like Suji and Rikimines, Devil Satan 6 was one of the few named Gurendos not killed before the end of Machine Robo: Battle Hackers cartoon.
