Machine Robo[edit | edit source]

Machine Robo Series[edit | edit source]

  • Harrier Robo (1983)
    • ID number: MR-19
    • Accessories: none
Harrier Robo was the 19th figure in Bandai's Machine Robo Series and transforms from robot to Hawker Siddeley Harrier in 5 steps. The jet mode features retractable undercarriage, with the central wheel wide enough to compensate for the absence of outrigger wheels and allow the toy to balance properly. Harrier Robo also has shoulder, hip and foot articulation; due to the shoulder joints being all-metal he is less prone to wear than many of his contemporaries. Like the rest of the range, the figure retailed at ¥600.
  • The figure was later issued as the GoBots figure Royal-T, with no changes beyond omitting the additional sticker sheet; thus the American release is missing several of the decals on the Japanese version.
