Professor Suidōbashi's new Machine Robo is needed to counter Colonel Hazard and BL Fire Robo.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

MRRE30-009MakotoDaichiAce.jpg

Ace is down following the capture of the Aider Robo by Colonel Hazard. Fire Robo is similarly distressed, while Chief Bitou has forbidden recovering them as it is outside of MRR's remit of protecting people from disasters. Makoto's attempts to tell Ace he can learn from his mistakes don't exactly help and the pair square up, lashing out at Daichi and Sayuri when they try to calm things down. Daichi is enraged by their treatment of Sayuri and attacks the pair of them before Taiyoh appears after a test with the new Machine Commander and promptly takes a pie to the face. The four of them are called into Chief Bitou's office as the Machine Commander prepares to undergo further tests involving the Leader Robo, and will require the cadets to put their squabbling aside. Drill Robo, Police Robo and Fire Robo are all loaded onboard, though there's still clearly some enmity between Ace and Makoto. Elsewhere, Colonel Hazard activates his new Catfish device, causing a huge earthquake in a city in South America. Word reaches MRR but it would take too long for the Jet Team to get there - instead, Professor Suidōbashi suggests using the Machine Commander, which can use a ballistic course to get to the scene rapidly. Despite the craft only being cleared for training everyone agrees it is the best option, though everyone reminds Ace that the rescue - and not recovering the Aider Robo - is the top priority. The rapid appearance of Machine Commander startles Hazard just as he is revelling in the destruction caused.

Ace and Fire Robo are tasked with extinguishing a fire in a large skyscraper, Daichi and Drill Robo will clear the debris while Makoto and Police Robo are set to help the evacuation, though they still squabble despite Daichi's attempts to play peacemaker. The instructors are worried the feud will stop them working well together as the Machine Commander splits into its' three individual modules and begins rescue work. Drill Robo and Daichi soon make their way through to survivors, while Red Commander enables Fire Robo and Ace to fly up and douse the flames from above. Back at base Kai is curious about the cause of the earthquake, as the area is usually very stable. Sayuri tracks the epicentre to 12km from the city - above the ground. Sasaki sends Makoto and Police Robo to investigate; Ace and Fire Robo prepare to follow but spot a trapped worker in the top of the skyscraper. Makoto discovers the Catfish but Hazard activates BL Fire Robo's Hyper Mode. Ace and Fire Robo are distracted by the presence of the Aider Robos, but Makoto tells them to stay on task, promising that they can handle it as Police Robo activates a ZONE. Daichi offers to help freeing the worker using his ability to precisely judge distances while Drill Robo heads to help Police Robo inside the ZONE. Once the worker is recovered the other Machine Commander modules head towards the Catfish, and Chief Bitou orders Machine Commander to combine, though the process requires harmony from the trio of Robo Masters. They are able to put aside their differences and successfully form Machine Commander Robo, with Ace taking the controls and taking it inside the ZONE. However, Ace hesitates to attack so as not to endanger the Aider Robos, but Fire Robo is able to call them back to his side - despite the Professor's claim it shouldn't be scientifically possible to do so. With the upper hand, Machine Commander Robo removes the Zone, causing BL Fire Robo to fall on the Catfish, destroying the device. Hazard and BL Fire Robo retreat, while Fire Robo is reunited with his ladies, while Ace, Makoto and Daichi make up too as the team go back to helping those struggling in the city.
