Synopsis[edit | edit source]

ROC1502.jpg

Triple Jim, Leina Stol, Rod Drill, Blue Jet and Rom Stol have arrived in the epicentre of a conflict between the states of Pamela and Galba. Leina is greatly upset by the carnage left by one of the battles before the group meets Solitaire Raymosette, the Princess of Pamela, whose attempted assassination had sparked the war. She claims the people of Galba saved her from her own people, who are now planning a massive attack in retribution. Solitaire plans to tell the people of Pamela the truth but her escort has been killed by the Gyandlar, so instead she requests Rom and company to take her there before the attack is launched. News of her survival reaches Gadess, who plans to take over both settlements in the aftermath of the war. He sends the Guilder Brothers Assault Team - Black Guilder, Red Guilder and Silver Guilder - to intercept the group in the desert. The escorts are ambushed; Jet tries to escape with the Princess but is shot down by Black Guilder. He tries to hold all three of the team off while the Princess carries on alone, but Black Guilder is able to hit Solitaire with a bladed projectile, badly injuring her.

Rom and Drill arrive in time to save the pair. Solitaire and Jet carry on with Jim and Leina while the Drill and Rom continue to battle the Brothers; the latter lands a hit on Black Guilder and the trio retreat. Grujios and Diondra hurriedly use new genetic engineering on the Guilder Brothers before sending them back after the Princess. The group reaches Pamela, only for the Brothers to reappear and block their path. The trio combine into Giant Guilder and easily beat Kenryū; Rom then calls up Baikanfu but by now Pamela is preparing to launch a doomsday missile at Galba. The Princess then shocks everyone by revealing she's just a decoy - the real Solitaire has reached Pamela. The false princess is loaded with explosives and primed to self-destruct, taking the Gyandlar with her. She thanks Jet for his friendship before charging in the fray; the charges blow just as Giant Guilder is about to finish off Baikanfu, giving Rom the opening to destroy the alien. The attack has been successfully stopped as well and the survival of Solitaire means Pamela and Galba are back at peace. Jet reflects on the death of the double while Rom points out that her sacrifice ensured peace.

Featured characters[edit | edit source]

(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)

Notes[edit | edit source]

ROC1504.jpg
  • Red Guilder has a scythe; Black Guilder fires guided blades from his torso; White Guilder can project huge long flailing tentacles from his arms.
  • The Princess' tank is a recoloured Battle Robo, though as it doesn't transform this might just be the animators swiping the model instead of coming up with something new.

Errors[edit | edit source]

Continuity errors and plotting errors[edit | edit source]

  • The King's weird little glasses disappear after he orders the attack on Galba.
  • Jet lets out a big highly emotional scream when the dummy Solitaire reveals her intention to sacrifice herself but doesn't actually make any attempt to stop her.
