Double Jet (ダブルジェット) is a Machine Robo from Cronos. Packing Hyper Missiles and a Super Napalm Bomb, he's a one-Robo assault squadron.


Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos cartoon[edit]


Side Lancer was one of the Machine Robo on patrol with Rom Stol and other key troops in the ruins of Emerald City; the group were nearly trapped by Ashura and the Gyandlar Rocks. The mission had been leaked by someone from inside the Battle Base, with Heli Transer the prime suspect. When the latter called a squad of Machine Robo to the Dragon Waterfall, where Diondra was searching for the Lion Shield, Double Jet was among those taken by Rom - even though Battle Gyror warned them of a trap. Battle Gyror proved himself to actually be the spy, being a duplicate created and operated by the disembodied Grujios; Double Jet shot the duplicate before it could attack Leina Stol and Pro Truck Racer. He then helped Baikanfu find the Lion Shield. Raise Your Gun, Heli Transer!

He was among the Machine Robo summoned by Rom to debate what to do about the Gyandlar's new weather machine, opposing the decision to use the shady Wheelmen. Full Power, Wheelmen! After the Gyandlar were defeated, he remained on Cronos, watching two shuttles full of explorers set off for the dimensional gateway near Cronos. The Final Battle of Cronos

Machine Robo: Battle Hackers cartoon[edit]

After the Machine Robo left Cronos and passed a dimensional gateway they re-emerged as the citizens of the Algo Republic on Electronic Planet B-1 with no memory of their previous adventures; Double Jet became a member of the White Thunder team in the Algo Army. Burning Electronic Planet He was among the White Thunder reinforcements called in by Blue Jet to help drive back the Gurendos forces surrounding B-1's electronic furnace, helping drive off Sorikondar's forces. Save the Electronic Furnace of Death! He was later among the team taken by Blue Jet to help the pinned-down Battle Hackers but a lightning storm generated by Sorikondar prevented them getting through. R. JeTan! Run!

Double Jet was released by Bandai in the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos toyline as one of the Jet Tribe Double Machine Robo, and converts from robot to two jet modules. The jets can also combine to form a single larger jet. The figure was either made especially for the line or was a latecomer from the original Machine Robo franchise.
