Magmar had a Stonewing among his vehicles outside Stonehead, which was loaded with equipment for his planned assault on Boulder's Stronghold. However, with aid from the Guardians of GoBotron, Boulder and his followers were able to plant explosives on them after Nuggit took out the Narlies standing on guard. The charges were later blown by the Fossil Lord. Battle of the Rock Lords

Toys[edit | edit source]

Rock Lords[edit | edit source]

  • Stone Wing Vehicle (Rock Lords, 1986)
    • Magmar's Vehicle
    • Accessories: none
The Stone Wing was released in the first year of Rock Lords by Tonka and converts from robot to between car and jet modes, while the spring-loaded nose can punch forward at the touch of a button. In car mode the upper section can spin through 360° on the chassis. The cockpit can hold most Rock Robo if their legs can fold forward at the waist. The same toy was issued as the Rock Commander in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos by Bandai, with no significant changes. It is unclear which version of the vehicle was released first.

Robo Machine[edit | edit source]

  • Stonewing (Rock Lords, 1986)
    • Evil Rock Vehicle
    • Accessories: none

In Europe, Rock Lords was a subline of Robo Machine. The Stonewing was issued by Bandai in 1986 with no significant changes, beyond losing the space in its' name.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • While the European release and some American catalogues spell it as "Stonewing", there is a clear space in the name on the box of the Rock Lords release.
  • The Stone Wing was likely assigned to the Evil Rock Lords due to the inability of the vehicle to take the Good Rock Lords leader Boulder to fit in it due to his legs only bending backwards.
