Is a world without Leader-1 a world without hope?

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Cy-Kill and the Renegades discovered a Time Portal on the temporally-mutable planet of Saeculum Gamma. Cy-Kill decided to travel back in time and eliminate Leader-1 as a potential threat to his rise. He found the GoBeing known as Luther Unum before the cataclysm that necessitated the upgrade from GoBeing into GoBot. By kidnapping the humble archivist into the future, Cy-Kill removed Leader-1 from the timeline entirely, creating a future where Cy-Kill ruled GoBotron and Earth through his viceroy Zero and the boot-licking President Braxis.

Unfortunately for Cy-Kill, several Guardians and their human allies had been testing a new form of force field at UNECOM which protected them from the temporal inversion. They emerged into this alternate timeline with their memories of the original universe intact. Turbo and Scooter found Matt Hunter and Major Mo, who were leading the Resistance on Earth, and quickly ascertained that Leader-1 was missing from the timeline.

Sneaking back to GoBotron aboard a Thruster, the heroes learned about a prisoner named Luther Unum from the Guardian slave, Guide Star. Seeing the connection, the group split up to rescue Luther and find out how Cy-Kill altered the timeline. Luther was freed, and they learned about Saeculum Gamma, but both groups of Guardians were cornered by the Renegades..!
