Cy-Kill, Crasher, Cop-Tur and Tank utilized the Time Portal to return to the era of pre-Cataclysm GoBotron, where Cop-Tur bagged up the humble GoBeing archivist named Luther Unum, who was destined to grow into Guardian military commander – Leader-1. By removing Luther from the timestream and bringing him into the future, the Renegades had written off Leader-1's presence from history, thus creating the new universe where they won ! Only a handful of Guardians and humans stayed unaffected by the change due to the experimental form of forcefield. Renegade Victory Part 1 Through the long journey and skirmishes, the heroes managed to deliver liberated Luther to Saeculum Gamma to mend the universal damage the Renegade wrought. By this point, Cy-Kill decided to destroy the Time Portal, seeing its existence as an immense danger to his rule. But he was delayed in his motives, as while Turbo, Van Guard, Throttle and Scooter kept him, Crasher, Cop-Tur and Tank occupied, Nick and A.J sneaked Luther to the Time Portal's entrance. At its threshold, the grateful GoBeing thanked them for their aid, promising to never forget what they did for him and what he saw in the grim possible future. As Luther Unum jumped through into his proper period, the reality quickly restored itself back to normal with the reemerged Leader-1. Throttle blasted the Time Portal to pieces to prevent the Renegades from ever using it again. Thus, only eight GoBots and two humans carried on the memories of the temporal manipulation. Renegade Victory Part 2 But more concerning for Cy-Kill was the realization of the fact that perhaps his Time Portal scheme was directly responsible for forging Leader-1 into the Guardian hero he is. At least, his GoBeing self didn't actually encounter Cy-Kill or hear his voice throughout the ordeal, averting the harsher paradox consequences. Renegade Rhetoric 2015/01/29
