The Racing Game is a GoBots novelty produced by Gordy International in 1984.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Rolling the dial on the left with one's thumb caused the background landscape, which featured a meandering track in space as well as pictures of Leader-1 and Psycho (who appeared more in Gordy merch than he did in the cartoon...) to roll past, while turning the steering wheel moved the small generic "GoBot" at the bottom to keep it on course. If you're a southpaw, well, deal with it. A scoring system was included on the card, which relied entirely on the player's honestly. This sort of thing is why the Game Boy shifted a hundred million units.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Like everything else Gordy produced this piece was available with branding for about 9,714 other franchises as well.
