Synopsis[edit | edit source]
The Wolf Sword has led Rom Stol, Blue Jet, Leina, Rod Drill, Triple Jim and Battleflex to Cronos' equatorial jungle in Babria. The going is tough, and Leina collapses from the humidity. Unknown to the travellers, in a nearby cave Grujios and Diondra continue their own search for the Hyribead. To help them they call upon Mizuchi - an old enemy of Kirai Stol who recently escaped being buried under the ground to find out his enemy had died. Instead he decides to get revenge by killing Rom, making him an ideal ally for the Gyandlar. Back outside, Rom, Jet and Drill set out to find help for Leina and notice a strange seal on one of the rocks in the jungle. Rom comes across the Gyandlar and attacks but is beaten back by Mizuchi and then buried by a rock fall. Jet sets off after the Gyandlar while Drill attempts to free Rom. Elsewhere, Leina and Jim are suddenly surrounded by Rock People.
Drill successfully frees Rom and they are re-joined by Jet, who was unable to track Mizuchi. They return to Jim and find that Leina is missing, again. The trio follow tracks left to the Rock People's village and sneak inside; Rom finds Leina and prepares to attack before she explains that the Rock People returned her to health after her collapse. Looking around the village, they discover the Wolf Emblem among carvings on one of the buildings but are attacked by the Gyandlar before they can investigate. Rom summons Kenryū but Mizuchi arrives to fight him. In the battle Kenryū falls on part of the Rock People's temple, which magically creates the Shield of Justice that helps him battle Mizuchi. After upgrading to Baikanfu he easily kills Mizuchi, and Diondra retreats. The village is destroyed in the battle however, taking the Emblems with it, and the Rock People leave to find a new home.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Mizuchi was defeated and imprisoned in a cave by Kirai "many years" before, not long after the dragon arrived on Cronos from space.
- The Rock People seen are all the Battle Rock type. They have their own language - that Leina rapidly learns - and nobody seems to have met them before. They're placid people, though the episode doesn't really address why they knocked out Jim and took Leina instead of just asking.
- The Gyandlar's Varigale-X shuttle is seen for the first time.
