The 2010s was another decade without GoBots toys, though we got DVDs, comics and hugely expensive classic Machine Robo!

- Eddie Barth, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on May 28, aged 78.
- George DiCenzo, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on August 9, aged 70.
- Lee Yuro, co-writer of Challenge of the GoBots episode "Escape from Elba", died on September 12, aged 67.

- Warner Archive Collection released Challenge of the GoBots - The Original Miniseries on DVD, the series' first official release for some 25 years.
- Fewture Models released the ES Gokin version of Baikanfu.
- Ken Mars, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on February 12, aged 75.

- Action Toys released a figure of Blue Jet from Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos in their EM Gokin line.
- Walter Mathews, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on April 28, aged 85.
- Morgan Paull, voice of Matt Hunter from Challenge of the GoBots, died on July 17, aged 67.

- Philip L. Clarke, voice of Doctor Go and Good Knight from Challenge of the GoBots, died on April 23, aged 74.
- Jerry Dexter, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on June 21, aged 78.

- CM's Corporation released a figure of Leina Stol from Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos and the OVA series in their Gutto Kuro line.

- Richard Dysart, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on April 5, aged 86.
- Zale Kessler, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on September 28, aged 76.

- Action Toys began a series of toys based on Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, releasing new versions of Bike Robo, Rod Drill, Eagle Robo and Battle Robo.
- Bill Martin, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died on January 27, aged 70.
- Yuko Mizutani, who provided the voice of Leina Stol for Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, died on May 17, aged 51.
- SEN-TI-NEL released the Vulcanlog figure of Baikanfu in August.

- Action Toys released new versions of Mixer Robo, Blackbird Robo, Missile Tank Robo and Shuttle Robo.
- Dick Gautier, voice of Twister and Sky-Jack from Challenge of the GoBots, died on January 13, aged 85.

- Margot Kidder, voice of Solitaire from GoBots: Battle of the Rock Lords, died on May 13, aged 79.
- IDW began publication of the Go-Bots on November 21.
- Joe Medalis, who provided undetermined voices for Challenge of the GoBots, died aged 75-76.

- Bandai revived the Machine Robo brand with Machine Robo Duel.
- Production Reed reverted to their original name of Ashi Productions.
- Gordon Bressack, writer of Challenge of the GoBots episode "Element of Danger", died on August 30, aged 68.
- René Auberjonois, voice of Zebediah Braxis from Challenge of the GoBots, died on December 8, aged 79.
