It's graduation day, but just because Disaster is defeated doesn't mean no-one needs rescuing anymore.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Chief Bitou is looking proudly at a picture of Machine Robo Rescue when his daughter arrives in his office and tells him to get ready, only for an alarm to sound. The Fire, Police and Drill Teams are launched in the transporters and the Jet Team take to the skies while Machine Commander and V Stealth Robo are placed on standby. A celebration for the completion of the cadets' graduation was planned, but there are still emergencies. On the ground at a forest fire, Ace mentions to Lin that Taiyoh has calmed down, and she points out that he's become less competitive. However, they are alarmed when their backup arrives - a trio of captured Gura Gorros on trial deployment, who choose Lin as their Robo Master. Out at sea, Shō and Ken help rescue the crew of a sinking oil tanker and prevent a spill with aid from Submarine Robo and the Aqua Robo. Back at Rescue Headquarters guests for the ceremony begin to arrive. Out in the city, Makoto and Police Robo stop a runaway truck - surprising everyone by deviating from his detailed plan in order to fit the situation. Elsewhere, Daichi and Sayuri are disposing of an unexploded bomb with Drill Robo, while the Jet Team combat a fire at the Wonderland Amusement Park. The fire has disabled the controls of a huge tourist submarine, which inevitably has Jun onboard. V Stealth Robo and Machine Commander launch, while Miyajima orders the other teams over to help as well.
Night is beginning to close in as MRR converge on the stranded submarine. The Gyro Team drop pressure cables which the Submarine Team connect to the craft's hull. The Jet Team and Machine Commander Robo then begin to pull the submarine to the surface, but it's hard work. Jun tries to keep the spirits of those trapped high as V Stealth Robo and Gyro Robo join the effort as the submarine starts to buckle with water coming in. Ken suggests using the Hyper Modes and finally the sub is brought to the surface. MRR finally return to base and collapse in an exhausted pile, only to be told by Miyajima that the ceremony is still going ahead. At the ceremony Chief Bitou announces that Machine Robo Rescue will be expanding, with command of the Japan branch being handed over to Miyajima, who is as usual stuck somewhere between pride and a nervous wreck, falling over and giving a loud stilted speech. However, his exchange with Chief Bitou shows how honoured he is by the decision, and it is clear he is trusted. Chief Bitou himself will instead be joining Professor Suidōbashi in developing International Hyper Rescue, a new global rescue organisation which will have branches all over the world. The cadets all give speeches in front of an audience of familt and friends, and Taiyoh speaks to Suidōbashi about his plans to spread Machine Robo Rescue's wings around the world, declaring rescuing people to be the best job in the world.
