A visit to the Utada family brings sibling rivalry to the surface.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Gyro Robo has been officially assigned to Blue Sirens, with the team using their weekend leave to prepare the Machine Robo. That done, Susumu, Tyuyoshi and Alice head to the wrestling gym owned by the twins' father Masayoshi Utada - bringing Gyro Robo along as well, who wants to dust up on his fighting techniques. Back at Rescue Headquarters instructor Sasaki is unsure of the wisdom of letting the Machine Robo join the cadets, but Brad Bitou believes it may be a good opportunity to decide on who will become Gyro Robo's Robo Master. At the gym the Utadas' mother arrives and asks for one of them to go shopping with her, and at their father's suggestion wrestle - with the loser joining her on the chore. An enthusiastic Alice tags in and attacks Susumu, with one of Masayoshi's students - the masked Carlos - also joining to even the odds before the father himself also joins in. Somehow the match ends in a draw, and later the battered twins aren't talking to each other as the trio stay for the night with the Utadas. Outside, Gyro Robo talks with Masayoshi, who is disappointed the pair have chosen not to follow him into wrestling. However, Gyro Robo tells him of the good they've done for Machine Robo Rescue, and he is satisfied. The next morning he leaves early to prepare for a competition, but the crane being used in the arena collapses.
At home the twins are still squabbling about everything, even chores, when their mother tells them of the accident. The brothers set off to help with Alice and Gyro Robo - but they are spotted by Gura Gorro. Masayoshi is trapped under the crane, which is too heavy for even his wrestlers to move. Before Gyro Robo can help Gura Gorro bursts into the stadium, and Susumu commands him to summon a ZONE. Reports reach Rescue Headquarters, and Red Wings prepare to launch - though Chief Bitou suggests letting Gyro Robo handle the situation. The Helicopter Robo arrive at the site and the twins control them to lift the crane, while Gyro Robo is struggling against Gura Gorro. Susumu and Tsuyoshi are then able to activate Gyro's Hyper Mode while Alice gets everyone to safety - joined by Makoto, who has arrived at the scene. Inside the ZONE, Hyper Gyro Robo gains the upper hand from moves he learnt watching the wrestlers and defeats Gura Gorro. The whole operation leaves Masayoshi delighted with his sons' choice and skills. Meanwhile the boys and Gyro Robo decide that their combined work deserves a name - the Triple Tornado. Back at Headquarters, Chief Bitou decides to promote both of the brothers to be joint Robo Masters of Gyro Robo.
