Machine Robo Series[edit | edit source]

  • Vertol Robo (1985)
    • ID number: MR-50
    • Accessories: Gyro Cutter (2)
Vertol Robo was the 50th figure in Bandai's Machine Robo Series and transforms from robot to Kawasaki Vertol KV-107-II5 in 9 steps. The yellow scheme is inspired by the JSDAF air-sea rescue livery, albeit missing the white upper section. The shoulders and ankles of Vertol Robo can wear. The Gyro Cutter rotors can attach to the outside of the robot's wrists. As one of the later Machine Robo figures, Vertol Robo can be hard to find second-hand.
  • From 1986 onwards Vertol Robo was repackaged on a blister card. The figure itself was unchanged.
  • The figure was later recoloured as the GoBots figure Twin Spin in North America and as the Robo Machine figure Carry-All in Europe.
