Hell Island is the mobile headquarters of the Disasters.

It resembles a small flying island, almost entirely covered by a huge metal dome. It can move around Earth without detection and is hard to approach due to being perennially surrounded by potent storm clouds.

Hell Island was originally the initial Machine AI research centre. It was believed destroyed along with Doctor Kaiser after an accident but the AI had in fact merged with the scientist to become Kaiser-G, and had somehow been transported elsewhere as a result. After becoming frustrated with Jay's lack of results and possibly worried about signs the boy's conditioning was beginning to break down, Kaiser-G created Colonel Hazard to take over as commander of the Disasters' assaults on Earth, and he in turn created the BL Machine Robo. Following Stealth Robo's defeat against Jet Robo Enter! BL Machine Robo he was chained up at Hell Island as part of Hazard's plans to taunt Jay. He later escaped, but was lost in action defending his Robo Master at the Space Agency. Stealth Robo's Fierce End Stealth Robo and Jay would eventually resurface and join MRR, where Professor Tōru Suidōbashi was able to decode some of the information about Hell Island and the Disasters from the data they brought with them. However, he wasn't in time to warn Taiyoh Ohzora, who was unwittingly approaching the base in Machine Commander Robo while investigating a trio of artificial typhoons. A bolt of lightning from Hell Island crippled the huge Machine Robo, sending it crashing down on a nearby island. However, the arrival of Jay and the rebuilt V Stealth Robo was able to save Machine Commander Robo from destruction at the hands of BL Fire Robo. The Strongest Combination! Machine Commander Robo V

Soon afterwards Jay returned to Hell Island along with Makoto Aikawa, after the pair's squabbling saw them both eject from Machine Commander in the vicinity. The pair were able to largely keep out of the hands of the Disasters, aided by Jay's former carer F. On their way through they accrued some intelligence about Kaiser-G's plans - to which he was largely indifferent, believing his plans to be too far advanced to be stopped, not even being concerned when V Stealth Robo and Police Robo rescued the pair. The Secret of the Disasters Kaiser-G's prediction was largely accurate; while Brad Bitou was able to realise that his old colleague was behind the Disasters the plan was too far advanced. While Jet Robo and V Stealth Robo were able to attack and seemingly destroy Hell Island it had served its' purpose, sloughing away to reveal Kaiser-G's huge body, which he had built up inside the base. Activate, Kaiser-G!
