The Fission Cannon is a weapon devised by Stron-Domez and used by Cy-Kill.

The Robo Machines comic

After the unsuccessful attempt to assassinate the planet's president, Stron-Domez and his Robo Machines Cy-Kill and Tank fled Robotron, planning to invade Earth. After arriving in England Stron-Domez targeted Cholkham as the ideal target to announce his power, creating Fitor and the Fission Ray for Cy-Kill, who was eager to test the new weapon. The next morning he got his wish when the attack started, and Cy-Kill used the Fission Cannon to disintegrate two humans - including the town's police officer. After Leader One of the Security Forces arrived and drew them out of Cholkham, Cy-Kill fired the weapon at him but the Guardian dodged the blast. He later used it to defend the captured factory at Westbridge before escaping with Stron-Domez when the battle turned against them. The Robo Machines, Story 1

Notes

• The Fission Cannon was presumably devised due to the lack of any obvious weaponry on Cy-Kill's toy; during the second storyline Cy-Kill switched to hand-blasters as elements of Challenge of the GoBots began to seep into the strip.
