Winchers

The Winchers were an assortment of figures in the Robo Machine toyline, released by Bandai in Europe during 1985. The two figures were taken from the Zenmai Kahen Winch Robo series, which was also the source for the similar but larger Robot Helicopter and Robot Winch Truck figures.

Each Wincher had a working winch feature powered by a friction motor. The moulds were later released as part of the Secret Riders in the GoBots toyline and as the Dash Robo for Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, though those releases used new colour schemes while the European versions used the same schemes as the Winch Robo figures.

• While Moto ATC/Tri-Trak was released in the same subgroup in every other line, in Europe it was different - Bandai must have had a twinge of conscience and instead of releasing a toy with no winch as a Wincher put it out under the one-figure assortment name "Moto-ATC".
