The Renegades leave GoBotron - FOR EARTH
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
The evil Renegades attack the Guardians, the legitimate government of GoBotron. However, Leader-1 and the Guardians fought back and Cy-Kill led his troops to their underground base. He told Crasher and Cop-Tur load the Astrobeam onboard Thruster. Meanwhile on Earth, Matt Hunter, A.J. Foster and Nick Burns of the AstroCorps are on a fact-finding mission in the Intrepid. Meanwhile on GoBotron Psycho informs Cy-Kill of impending defeat to the Guardians, so he opts to take Cop-Tur and Crasher to set up a base on Earth. Leader-1 informed the Guardian Council of the trio leaving the planet and took the Command Center, Turbo and Scooter in pursuit. In Earth orbit the satellite Matt, Nick and A.J. are repairing is destroyed by the Thruster emerging from hyperspace - much to the fury of Professor Braxis. With his report of a UFO dismissed and realising they were for it either way, Matt decided to take the Intrepid to check up on the strange craft. However, the Renegades blew it up, leaving the humans on the run as AstroCorps scrambled a fleet of helicopters. At that moment the Guardians arrived and launched into battle, though Turbo is rapidly injured. The arrival of the helicopters sends both sets of GoBots running off. The captain of the troops tells Matt, Nick and A.J. they'll have a lot of explaining to do.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Yes, that Steve Ditko.
- This book is a partial adaptation of "Battle for GoBotron". There are a few changes, possibly due to the book being written while the mini-series was still in production.
- Steve Ditko, mind.
- The art is dreadful but still, Steve ****ing Ditko.
