Double Machine Robo[edit | edit source]
- Drill Heli (1986)
- ID number: MRJW-3
- Accessories: rotor
- Drill Heli was released by Bandai in the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos toyline as one of the Jet Tribe Double Machine Robo, and converts from robot to Sikorsky S-64 Sky Crane helicopter (named in the instructions as a "Hyper Helicopter") and drill... thing... (named in the instructions as a "Twin Crusher Drill"). The drill unit can be slung under the helicopter as a piece of cargo. The figure was either made especially for the Revenge of Cronos line or was a latecomer from the original Machine Robo franchise.
- Drill Heli was not released outside of Japan.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- A prototype version of Drill Heli featured in catalogues had a more pastel colour for the Twin Crusher Drill module and a red head as in the cartoon.
- The character's appearance in Machine Robo: Battle Hackers is fleeting, and it's not clear which group he belongs to in that continuity, or if he's even a member of the Algo Army.
Footnotes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ He doesn't recognise the travellers and they don't recognise him, so it's either an error or there are multiple Drill Heli.
