• Vega is a real star that has long been studied by astronomers, being one of the brightest in the night sky when viewed from Earth.
• In the original Machine Robo fiction published in TV Land, the Machine Robo's home planet Romulos was in the system. This appears to be a coincidence based on Vega being well-known rather than an early GoBots/Machine Robo crossover.
