Jump to navigationJump to searchTom Ruegger (born Metuchen, New Jersey) is an American writer and animator of cartoons. He began his career in the industry in 1975 and was an animator at Hanna-Barbera Productions before he moved up to freelance writing in 1980. Before Challenge of the GoBots he wrote for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and The New Adventures of Flash Gordon; afterwards he was a key figure in the production of a number of smash hits for Warner Brothers, including Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman: The Animated Series andTaz-Mania before moving across to work for Disney.
His work on Challenge of the GoBots was entirely restricted to the original mini-series.
