Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Yasand celebrates his theft of the electromagnetic missiles from the Algo Army, and they now stand ready to fire on Crystal City and the Grand Whale. The Battle Hackers are trying to fight their way towards it but are meeting heavy opposition, led by Kariagen. R. JeTan orders Mach Blaster and Rotary Kid to get airborne in order to take out some of the troops. Meanwhile Akira and Patricia are trying to infiltrate a Gurendos base in Riser Suits, Akira using the Jet Riser to deal with the Sitappa guards. They manage to get in and hack the computers, trying to find more about the missiles' location. They find some blueprints that might be able to make engines to get them home. However, the base then collapses in on them - the truck carrying the missiles having crashed into the building due to poor driving. Yasand and Gakurandar argue about who's fault this is while the Sitappas try to dig the thing out. Inside Akira manages to get back to the Jet Riser but finds Patricia badly injured and barely conscious, while the computer in the base is about to overload.
The Battle Hackers remain bogged down while the Gurendos manage to get the missile truck moving again. This gives Akira and Patricia a chance to escape in the Jet Riser, and he soon realises they've stumbled upon the missiles. Seizing the chance, Akira leaves her under cover and makes a solo attack on the convoy. However, the Jet Riser's weaponry is not powerful enough to destroy the weaponry. The other Battle Hackers finally get through Kariagen's forces, and Drill Crusher engages the Gurendos captain personally. Gattai Saurer then takes over so his faster comrade is free to get a message out. However, as Drill Crusher runs off he's nearly rammed by Suji in a tank with more troopers, turning the tables on the pair of Battle Hackers. Mach Blaster and Rotary Kid arrive to help them, though, giving Drill Crusher chance to contact RIM with information on the missiles. Akira meanwhile is battling Teppodamans and trying to keep the missiles in sight. However, the ordinance is nearly ready for firing at Grand Whale. The first launches as Akira arrives; he chases after it with a captive Teppodaman he plans to jam in its' engine. The trooper squirms away but Drill Crusher's warning allows Blue Jet to fire the city's own missiles back at the huge super-weapon. However they do not destroy it, and RIM issues a red alert in the city as the electromagnetic missile bursts, causing huge casualties on the ground.
