Talk:Go-Bots issue 1
Cuts[edit source]
- Several characters appear in alternate color schemes than their more famous animated counterparts:
- Crasher appears in the white-and-blue paint job her toy was originally released with (both in Machine Robo and the first year of the GoBots line), rather than the more famous black, white, and orange repaint that came later, upon which her colors in the cartoon were based. Perhaps she'll get a new paint job down the line?
- Stretch, likewise, is black rather than white, though why is not immediately clear. A Renegade who looks like Stretch's original toy (which was released under the name Tux) appears later as one of the Renegades who pile on Leader-1.
- Water Walk appears among Cy-Kill's followers, though he's depicted in shades of blue and white as per his international release.
- Vamp, traditionally female, appears to be male in this continuity.
Considering this is a fresh continuity I'm highly sceptical towards everything having to be seen entirely through the prism of Challenge, especially seeing as Scioli shows next to no awareness of most of it. "Traditionally female" is an especially big statement for "was in a cartoon once where her gender was never, ever a plot point or even mentioned by any other character". Vamp[edit source]
Is Vamp in this continuity a Renegade? He/she/it/them are loyal to Braxis throughout the events of the mini-series, and IIRC don't even interact with Cy-Kill or any of his goons until they attack Crasher in the last issue. Carry-All (talk) 14:44, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
Condor[edit source]
Is Condor Nick's callsign? Or the third pilot? Carry-All (talk) 10:59, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
Bullseye[edit source]
I can't see him. Any chance of a page/frame number?
If it's the image shown at TF Wiki that's being used I'd say there's absolutely nothing to say it's Bullseye, especially as that sequence in the comic features several generics.Carry-All (talk) 14:07, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
