Synopsis[edit | edit source]
R. JeTan leads out the Battle Hackers out on patrol, leaving the Winner Robo - and an unimpressed Akira - behind. The Gurendos have targeted Crystal City's main powerplant, the Electronic Furnace, for their latest attack. Due to their sabotage the furnace approaches meltdown, with bulkheads trapping Mask Rock and the Battle Rock workers inside. RIM briefs Rod Drill and Blue Jet of the emergency, which could potentially destroy Electronic Planet B-1. Racer Robo also attends the meeting, and debates with Police Robo whether they should try to contact R. JeTan or investigate themselves; ultimately the team choose to go and help the workers, launched by Roboshooter Gaiden. Meanwhile Sorikondar reports in to Dylan, predicting the destruction of the Battle Hackers. They are fighting a large force led by Gakurandar on a bridge. At the Furnace, Blue Jet and Rod Drill have secured the facility, believing it to be too dangerous to try and save the workers - though the Winner Robo pay no heed to their roadblock.
Rod Drill, Blue Jet and White Thunder troops pursue the Winner Robo as the furnace nears meltdown. However, they find their path blocked by Sorikondar and Gurendos troops. However, Rod Drill and Blue Jet arrive to help, having been inspired to go against RIM's orders by the Winner Robo's spirit. Meanwhile Akira tries to contact the main force of Battle Hackers, despite difficulty with using Machine Robo technology. Instead he sets off in the Jet Riser to tell him directly. Outside the furnace, White Thunder and Silver Wolves reinforcements arrive, routing Sorikondar's forces, while Tough Trailer arrives with a device that will bring the furnace under control. Akira meanwhile makes contact with the other Battle Hackers and manages to let Pro Truck Racer know Gakurandar's force are just a diversion. At the furnace Rod Drill is finding the blast doors hard to destroy with the Blazer Cannon. Instead he, Tough Trailer and the Winner Robo use grappling hooks to tear them away. Roboshooter Gaiden is then able to get the control device in place, bringing the furnace back under control just as the Winner Robo begin to succumb to the heat, saving the workers. By the time the Battle Hackers arrive the Winner Robo are being taken away for medical treatment, having proven themselves.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- The Gurendos captains do a Nazi salute to Dylan.
- There appears to be a female Battle Rock among the staff of the furnace.
- Rod Drill and Blue Jet transform for the first time in the series (reusing their Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos sequences) and their Blazer Cannon return.
- There's some super-stylised animation in the second half, notably the jet modes of the White Thunder reinforcements.
