Go-Bots comic[edit | edit source]
After Cy-Kill walked out from T. Coriander Banks' gladiator series he hid out along Route 66, soon drawing a large following of fellow Renegade Go-Bots. The group raided gas stations along the highway for fuel, ammunition and cash, roughing up any humans who tried to stop them. While rogue Go-Bots were not unheard of the number and frequency of attacks concerned the Pentagon, who sent star pilot Nick Burns and his Go-Bot jet Leader-1 to investigate. They patrolled along Route 66 and initially seemed to have come up blank before they spotted the Renegade convoy. The resulting fight did not go well; Leader-1 was defeated by Cy-Kill, Nick was critically injured and the Renegades were able to take key military secrets from them, leading to the Renegades beginning a mass uprising against humanity.Issue 1
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The real Route 66 is one of the most famous roads in America and the world. As such it has featured in many TV series, films and comics - including Disney/Pixar's Cars, which also concerned a race of sentient vehicles taking over planet Earth and in Tow Mater managed the feat of devising a character even more annoying than Scooter.
