Riser Suits
The Riser Suits are powered exoskeleton armoured suits devised by Science for the use of the Algo Army. While primarily designed for the Red Knights team they are the ideal size for humans to operate, which turned out to be fortuitous. Each amplifies the strength of the wearer and mounts an array of weaponry.
Three variants are known, all using the same base layout: -
- The Jet Riser - optimised for air combat, piloted by Akira Amachi.
- The Battle Riser - optimised for ground combat, piloted by Luke Stewart.
- The Power Riser - a general-purpose ground combat and utility suit, piloted at various times by the Red Knights, Mia White and Patricia Longfellow.

The Suits were easy to learn, if difficult to master, with Akira and Luke both finding them intuitive when they stole the Jet Riser and Battle Riser shortly after their arrival on Electronic Planet B-1. Jet Riser! Scramble! After the pair began operating with the Battle Hackers they both found the suits to be potent, though they received further training from Science himself after one defeat. Riser! Power Up! The suits then played a vital part in the Battle Hackers' campaign.

Fittingly, all three toys featured the same 'base' armour suit with varying clip-on parts. The included pilot figures could be swapped, while the suits can also accept Karate Robo, Jūdō Robo, Wrestler Robo and Boxer Robo.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- While powered exosuits have long been a sci-fi staple, the Riser Suits were clearly influenced by the famous Power Loader from Aliens.
