Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Diondra launches Phenomena into Cronos' orbit, where it wreaks havoc on the planet's ecosystem, causing an earthquake. The tremors are felt at the Battle Base before the disturbance subsides; subsequently a Jet Tribe patrol finds chunks of ice are falling from the the sky and report back to the base. Kendō Robo deduces that something is wrong with the planet's poles, which are slowly reversing. He believes uniting the four Elements to draw on the Hyribead would give them the power to stop the problem. Falcon Robo advocates all-out attack to retake the two captured elements but Rom, still without the Wolf Sword, asks for time to think over their next course of action. His meditation is interrupted by Wrestler Robo, who shows him the Power Riser suits he has built. After some successful testing of the exoskeleton battle armour Rom's spirits are lifted. Enraged at the seeming poor results of Phenomena, Gadess slashes Diondra's face and is about to kill her before Garudi points out that Phenomena is having some serious effects on the planet. Gadess is pleased but realises this will lead to an attempt to regain the Phoenix Armor and Lion Shield, charging Diondra with protecting them. That night Rom tries to sneak out in a Power Riser but is discovered by Leina and Wrestler Robo, then everyone else - they all volunteer to come and fight alongside him. The Gyandlar detect the task force and Garudi asks if Rom can be left to him. Diondra agrees and sets off with Devil Satan 6 to tackle the rest of the Machine Robo.

Rom, Leina and Wrestler Robo head off to find the Wolf Sword and the missing elements while the rest of the task force keep the Gyandlar busy - Amber Man leads Rockdon and Rockgiran, Jet leads in Falcon Robo, Eagle Robo Cessna Robo, Phantom Robo, Blackbird Robo and Double Jet to combat the Gyandlar Devils and Drill, Pro Truck Racer and Tough Trailer provide covering fire while Land Giant 32 takes the Power Risers into the position. The planet is still being rocked by earthquakes and storms, with giagantic hail directed by Diondra damaging Rockdon and Rockgiran before destroying Land Giant 32's tyres. Buggy Robo and Skyline Robo race into action to take Land Giant 32 into position before both are killed by explosives dropped by the Devil Satan 6. Rom lashes out and Wrestler Robo warns that his rage will affect the Power Riser as the suits are tuned to the brain waves of each user and follow their exact commands but Garudi interrupts, injuring him with Rom's sword. He tries to kill Leina but is distracted by a sudden vision of her as a young child. Rom is calmed by a visitation from Kirai and is able to call his Wolf Sword back from Garudi; he and Leina rapidly suppress the Devil Satan 6 before Rom chases after the fleeing Garudi. The conditions on Cronos keep getting worse as the battle rages on...
