Synopsis[edit | edit source]
The Gurendos attempt an attack over Electronic Planet B-1's boiling deserts, where they are met by the Battle Hackers. R. JeTan uses Mach Blaster's gun mode to wipe out a chunk of the attacking Sitappas but they keep coming, with huge numbers led by Kariagen beginning to surround the Machine Robo forces. Back at the Grand Whale Rod Drill, Blue Jet and Kempō Robo try to coordinate the battle with RIM, who informs them the Battle Hackers are in danger of being overwhelmed, much to the distress of Patricia and Zen. Patricia berates them for doing so little in the battle against the Gurendos while the Battle Hackers take all the risks as a report comes in that another formation of enemy troops is moving in to surround their friends. Jet decides enough is enough, and sets off with Eagle Robo to get supplies to the Battle Hackers before it's too late. On the battlefield Gattai Saurer does his best to cover Akira, Mia and Hot Rod Joe against the Gurendos' artillery barrage so the trio can attempt to capture an enemy tank. They trick the crew into abandoning it and use it to destroy several others. Meanwhile Jet and Eagle Robo continue their mission, but Yasand is getting restless at the Gurendos base.
Watching from a cliff, Yasand spots Jet and Eagle Robo, setting off to attack them. Jet spots the approach and leaves Eagle Robo to carry on alone while he confronts Yasand, challenging the Gurendos to a duel. Spurred on by thoughts of Baikanfu, Jet is able to disarm the much larger Yasand, disable his troops' vehicles and then escape. Yasand swears he will beat Jet next time they meet. In the desert the Battle Hackers are beginning to run seriously low on ammunition - with Pro Truck Racer out entirely - as Kariagen's forces close in. Just as they are beginning to buckle Eagle Robo appears and gets ammo to the Battle Hackers, while Jet appears among the Gurendos and starts slicing them up with his sword. Resupplied, the Battle Hackers step up the pace once again. Kariagen orders his remaining troops to retreat but R. JeTan blocks his way. The Gurendos Sitappas try to restrain him while Kariagen fires his head-mounted missile at R. JeTan, but the Battle Hacker gets free and blows the device up mid-air. The resulting explosion destroys Kariagen. After the battle, Jet asks the group if they think he has what it takes to be a Battle Hacker.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Akira grabs Mia's boob after they're knocked into a crater. Again, you don't get that in Challenge.
- Not only does Blue Jet get some of his sword-fighting mojo back but some of his moves are Revenge of Cronos stock footage, and he gets to be the one to have a flashback about Baikanfu.
Errors[edit | edit source]
- Rod Drill, Karate Robo and Kempō Robo are briefly visible with the Battle Hackers at the start of the desert battle.
