Cy-Kill identified the Hoover Dam as providing enough power to boost a stolen prototype Guardian Astrobeam in order to bring a huge Renegade army to Earth, using nearby Boulder City as a staging ground. • Unlike many of the various facilities seen in Challenge of the GoBots, Hoover Dam is a real place and often gets taken out during disaster movies. It's also Sector 7's base in the first Transformers live-action movie.
