Machine Robo[edit | edit source]
Conceived for the Machine Robo line in 1985, Football Robo was part of the planning for what would become the Martial Arts Robo, which were presumably planned as more general "Sport Robo" at this stage. From the concept sketch, Football Robo himself would have been a non-transforming poseable figure, with his motorcycle turning into a miniature American Football field with a "working" goal-kicking feature.
