His Ionoid Frozen Raygun can clip into the tip of the ladder in vehicle mode but is one of the tiniest accessories ever produced for a children's toyline and thus it is incredibly hard to find loose, complete versions of Fire Robo. Unlike the American release no mention is made on the Japanese packaging of attaching the ladder to the robot mode arms. Like the rest of the range, the figure retailed at ¥600.
  • The figure was later issued as the GoBots figure Pumper, with no changes, aside from the omission of the extra sticker sheet with markings for the ladder and top of the vehicle. It was not issued in Europe or Australia.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • It has been speculated that the small size of the figure's gun is the reason for Fire Robo's low number of international releases as it may not have passed European/Australian/Canadian toy safety laws of the time. However, it is not known why Bandai did not just omit the accessory from these releases as the toy works just as well without it.
