Synopsis[edit | edit source]

ROC3002.jpg

A storm has trapped Pro Truck Racer, Rod Drill, Tough Trailer and Leina Stol behind Gyandlar lines, where they are ambushed by Devil Rock, Double Rock and Geiger Rock. Pro Truck Racer easily drives them off, blowing up one of Double Rock's heads when he threatens Leina, though her leg is injured in the fight. Pro Truck Racer and Drill keep arguing over the best way to proceed; the pair eventually call a truce for the injured Leina's sake. The storm having cleared, Rom prepares a search party to find his sister and friends, along with Blue Jet, Triple Jim, Blackbird Robo, Eagle Robo, Combat Buggy and the Land Commander 5 team to find the group with little success so far due to the dangerous storms. They concede that they have to trust Pro Truck Racer to guide their comrades back safely but decide to send Blackbird Robo on ahead to try and locate them. Above the ruins of Emerald City on the Varigale-X, Devil Rock reports his team's failure to Diondra, so Garudi opts to lead another attack on the lost party, whose progress is slowed by Leina's injuries.

Pro Truck Racer charges their attackers before bringing a building down to act as a bridge across the chasm separating them from the remains of the city. They cross successfully and Drill pushes the structure down the canyon to prevent them being followed - though as most of Garudi's troops can fly they continue giving chase. In a ruined building Drill finds some medical equipment and is able to repair Leina's injured leg but Pro Truck Racer storms away by himself. He is soon found by Garudi's squad and is no match for the Gyandlar alone. The battle is noticed by Blackbird Robo, who reports back to Rom just as Kendō Robo liaises with the search party, giving Blue Jet the new Blazer Cannon he has designed. Jet then takes Rom to help Leina's party. With Pro Truck Racer unable to match Garudi, they arrive just in time and Baikanfu battles the Gyandlar captain. While the fight is even, it provides a distraction allowing Tough Trailer to ram Garudi. With Pro Truck Racer recovering, Drill arriving and the search parties heading towards the battle Garudi calls a retreat. Pro Truck Racer apologises to his injured brother for his hot-headedness and the Machine Robo forces reunite, while Rom and Leina's thoughts once again turn to their late father Kirai.
