Don Glut
Don Glut, sometimes credited by a variation of Donald F Glut, is an American writer of history, cartoons and non-fiction books. As well as Challenge of the GoBots he wrote for Transformers and the other usual suspects, such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe while he worked with Jeff Segal on The Biskitts. His best-known book is probably the adaptation of The Empire Strikes Back.
He found a degree of notoriety within cartoon fan circles by giving a frank interview where he pointed out how little effort and care went into his Transformers scripts, including outright ignoring some of the show bible notes[1]. This is probably the mindset of most writers of Challenge of the GoBots. He also has a habit of working his interests - such as dinosaurs and classic horror monsters - into his scripts at any opportunity.
