Synopsis[edit | edit source]
After a large number of Machine Robo left Cronos following the defeat of the Gyandlar they crossed a dimensional barrier and were reborn as the people of the Algo Republic on Electronic Planet B-1. This is now under attack by the Gurendos, who bomb one of their cities and overwhelm the defences under the command of Gakurandar. Above the planet, the human ship Good Luck appears, having malfunctioned, and is spotted by Shuttle Robo. White Thunder members Eagle Robo, Phantom Robo and Falcon Robo are sent to investigate by the Algo Army computer RIM while Blackbird Robo alerts the rest of the Algo Army. Units are scrambled in response, with Pro Truck Racer, Tough Trailer and Drill Crusher leading out a force of Silver Wolves. The Good Luck makes a controlled landing, startling the Machine Robo living nearby and also drawing the attention of Gurendos units, who fly in to check out the spacecraft. Gakurandar sends in his troops to investigate while onboard the ship the unwitting human crew are awakened from suspended animation. The four crew members Patricia Longfellow, Akira Amachi, Mia White and Luke Stewart come around and try to work out what is happening but are interrupted when the Gurendos attack begins. They try to head for safety but the Gurendos Kariagen bursts through the hull and menaces Akira and Patricia.
The Gurendos thug chases them through the ship with his spiked club until Luke discharges a foam fire extinguisher in his face and the group are able to slip away deeper into the Good Luck. The group try to work out their next step, with Luke and Mia trying to keep the volatile Akira and flighty Patricia calm. They arm themselves as best as they can as the Gurendos attack on the ship intensifies but Kariagen is impervious to their pistols and even a bazooka used by Luke. He is saved by the timely arrival of Pro Truck Racer and his Big Blazer Cannon, with Drill Crusher directing the rest of the Silver Wolves force in providing covering fire. F-One Jack is sent in to help Pro Truck Racer, who is able to take out a Gurendos spaceship. Luke thanks him and is told where his ship has landed and what's going on. Kariagen is still chasing Akira, Mia and Patricia, preventing them from escaping in one of Good Luck's shuttles, but Drill Crusher arrives to save them, driving the Gurendos off. He then converts to his drill tank mode, taking a reluctant Akira and Mia to safety – unaware that Patricia is still on the shuttle, terrified as the battle rages around her.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- R. JeTan is only seen in a still picture used for scene transitions.
- This is the first appearance of Drill Crusher, Mach Blaster, Boxer Robo and all of the Gurendos and human cast members, not to mention the computer RIM.
- The Jet Riser and Battle Riser are briefly seen in Tough Trailer's trailer - which is open in its base configuration, something not seen in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos.
- A very brief recap of the last few moments of "The Final Battle of Cronos" is given at the start of the narration - with no mention of Rom Stol or Leina Stol, who would be span off into an OVA series instead.
