Supercar Robo (スーパーカーロボ ) is a Machine Robo.

He can reach speeds of 620kmph in car mode, weighs 12.8 tons, is 5.2m tall and armed with a (presumably discrete) Ionoid Energy Saber in robot form.

Supercar Robo was driving on a mountain pass when a truck suddenly appeared. He swerved to avoid it and crashed off the road, looking sure to be dashed on the rocks below... only to convert to robot mode and fly out of danger. Supercar Robo instructions

Supercar Robo was a member of Bug Newman's gang but was killed by the criminal himself, possibly by accident, when he was touched by his Poison Fist Attack. Defeat Bug, the User of Darkness! A more peaceable Supercar Robo was among the residents of Dakota, joining the town's uprising against the Gyandlar that had manipulating them into fighting the residents of neighbouring Konan. Pledging Love on the Great River A Supercar Robo was among the students at what would become Rury's dojo when it was visited by Kirai Stol. Jet! Defeat the Double Death Blade! One was among the patients at Korora's hospital. The Man from Gyandlar He was one of the mind-controlled members of Cleo City's militia sent to combat Rom Stol's friends by Nerve, but got beaten up by Rod Drill. The Heart of a Protecting Angel

The Supercar Robo called Nepus was the adoptive father of Fam, and attempted to tell the authorities of Beth Bianco that the volcano they drew power from was becoming unstable, only to be ignored. He devised a cooling system and hid it in his daughter's necklace, but she was kidnapped by Garudi, allowing Magmanian to cause huge damage before it was recovered and the volcano was brought under control. Underneath a Burning Sky A different Supercar Robo was among the defenders of Emerald City, taking part in numerous battles with the Gyandlar. Gather All Machine Robo A very young Supercar Robo was among the patients in Emerald City while Tough Trailer was recovering from his battle with Garudi. Curse of the Demon Sword Medusa One was killed by the Gyandlar's weather machine when trying to repair damage to the Battle Base Full Power, Wheelmen! but at least one ultimately survived the final battle with Gadess' forces, ultimately leaving Cronos onboard a shuttle and crossing a dimensional gateway. Machine Robo: Battle Hackers cartoon[edit | edit source]

After the Machine Robo left Cronos and passed a dimensional gateway they re-emerged as the citizens of the Algo Republic on Electronic Planet B-1 with no memory of their previous adventures; Supercar Robo became a member of the Silver Wolves team in the Algo Army. Along with Highway Robo, he was shot defending Crystal City from the Gurendos. Burning Electronic Planet Either he got better or there was more than one of him as Supercar Robo was among the troops backing Pro Truck Racer up in the fight around the newly-arrived Good Luck. Jet Riser! Scramble! He was later among the troops who moved out with new Silver Wolves commander Rod Drill to battle the Gurendos. Strongest Warrior - R.JeTan!

Supercar Robo was the 7th figure in Popy's Machine Robo Series and transforms from robot to futuristic sports car. Supercar Robo is a very compact and simple figure with no real weak points beyond the dangers posed to any vintage toy with painted diecast metal parts and rubber tyres. Like the rest of the range, the figure retailed at ¥600.
  • The figure was later issued as the GoBots figure Turbo, with no significant changes.

Supercar Robo was recoloured for the Machine Robo Best 5 High Machine giftset, now featuring a new all-yellow colour scheme and a new sticker sheet. Also included in the set were updated versions of Buggy Robo, Police Car Robo, Porsche Robo and Countach Robo. This version of the figure was exclusive to the Japanese market.

  • A new figure for Supercar Robo has been shown in many presentations of Action Toys' Machine Robo revival but as yet has not been released.
