Slimestone is an evil Rock Lord from the planet Quartex. He has a disgusting personality, enjoying wallowing in pools of boiling oil, while his use of a Slimegun to coat enemies with sticky goo is a reliable source of lazy double entrendres.

Slimestone was one of Magmar's followers, capturing rival Rock Lords, taking their power sceptres and adding them to the Powerstone in order to create the Ultra Sceptre. Along with the rest of Magmar's band he was trapped by Boulder's troops in a valley, finding his Slimegun of limited use against Granite, until the Renegades arrived and turned the tide of the battle. Slimestone then participated in their subsequent alliance until the Renegades turned on them and the Ultra Sceptre was destroyed. Slimestone survived to fight under Magmar another day, however.Battle of the Rock Lords

Magmar's band teamed up with the Renegades a second time on Quartex. The Renegades pretended to steal a stone statue and were driven off by the combined troops of Boulder and Leader-1; however, 'twas all a ruse. The good guys took the statue inside the Command Center for safekeeping, only to crack open in the middle of the night - revealing Magmar, Brimstone and Slimestone. Scooter and Nuggit had spent all night learning about Greek things and sat up watching the statue, and were able to raise the alarm shortly after Magmar let the Renegades inside the Guardian ship. A fight broke out before the two sidekicks tricked the Renegades and Evil Rock Lords to walk out of the ship into space, leaving Slimestone to be carried to safety by Cop-Tur. Conquest of the Command Center! Later Magmar's troops had Boulder, Marbles, Granite, Crackpot and Pulver-Eyes trapped on the edge of a cliff that they couldn't just roll off as rocks. Nuggit then arrived with the Rockasaurs, providing a distraction for Boulder and chums to turn into rocks and knock them over. Update from Quartex

Rock Lords mini-comics[edit | edit source]

After Magmar discovered the Cryon Ray the Evil Rock Lords up an ambush for Boulder's Good Rock Lords, freezing them in rock mode and taking them to Stonehead. However, Nuggit had escaped and was able to free his comrades. Boulder then shot everyone with his sword and the good guys escaped, leaving Magmar to swear revenge. Rock Lords, Series 2[edit | edit source]

  • Slimestone (1986)
    • Evil Rock Warrior
    • Rock Type: "Silvery: a shiny plating that covers a slimy character."
    • Accessories: Slimegun
Slimestone was released in the second series of Rock Lords by Tonka and converts from robot to silver rock in 7 steps. Like many Rock Lords figures Slimestone has strong articulation, with good movement at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees and is very durable, though like Nuggit he is prone to chrome wear. Like all of the 1986 Rock Lords, his packaging features a Collector Card biography (which uses a picture of the heterochromia-suffering prototype), a four-frame mini-comic printed on the card, paper instructions and a copy of the "Powerful Living Rocks Face a Deadly New Peril" mini-comic.
  • The figure was released in Japan as (the heroic) Magna Rock, one of the Rock Robo in the Machine Robo:Revenge of Cronos toyline, with a different colour scheme; the Western version featured a silver body, green eyes and a red mouth; it is unclear which was the original release.
