Challenge of the GoBots cartoon[edit | edit source]

Magmar had a Rock Pot among his vehicles outside Stonehead, which was loaded with equipment for his planned assault on Boulder's Stronghold. However, with aid from the Guardians of GoBotron, Boulder and his followers were able to plant explosives on them after Nuggit took out the Narlies standing on guard. The charges were later blown by the Fossil Lord. Battle of the Rock Lords

Rock Lords[edit | edit source]

  • Rock Pot Vehicle (Rock Lords, 1986)
    • Boulder's Vehicle
    • Rock Type: "Marble: a hard textured limestone streaked with color, giving Boulder armor and camouflage."
The Rock Pot was released in the first year of Rock Lords by Tonka. It was designed specifically for the line by the American company, and while it does not convert it has some action features - the large pivot-mounted pincer can grab figures while pushing the Rock Pit along causes the treadmill/conveyor to move, depositing anything on it into the "cell" behind. The bucket cockpit is specifically designed to fit Boulder but can take most Rock Lord figures. A Narlie can be mounted on the connector behind the cockpit. The Rock Pot was never released in Japan

Robo Machine[edit | edit source]

Rock Lords[edit | edit source]

  • Rockpot (1986)
    • Good Rock Vehicle
In Europe, Rock Lords was a subline of Robo Machine. The Rockpot was issued by Bandai in 1986 with no significant changes, beyond losing the space in its' name.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • While the European release and some American catalogues spell it as "Rockpot", there is a clear space in the name on the box of the Rock Lords release.
  • The Rock Pot was likely specifically designed to address Boulder's inability to sensibly fit in the Stone Wing, the original vehicle designed by Bandai for the figures.
  • While the packaging of the toy flags up the toy as being used by the Good Rock Lords the vehicle's only on-screen appearance was in the service of Magmar.
