DX Robo Machine and later Robo Machine DX was a range of toys released in Europe by Bandai as part of Robo Machine.

Drawn from the Machine Robo DX range, they were promoted along similar lines to their Japanese counterpart, featuring little in common with the smaller Robo Machine figures in terms of packaging design and eschewing any attempt at names.

1983[edit | edit source]

The first release of the figures used similar style boxes to the Japanese release, with English text in place of the Japanese. German instructions were later added, with stickers placed on the boxes of the figures exported to the country.

1984[edit | edit source]

The second release dropped Future Machine and Porsche 930 from the line-up. The packaging was changed to a window box with a flap on the side, while the instructions were printed in English, French, German and Italian from the start.

1985[edit | edit source]

The third release of the figures changed the name to Robo Machine DX, featuring another different box design. Porsche 930 returned to the range, while the figures were given reference codes. Before the year was out these had been replaced by the European version of Super GoBots in Bandai's production - though in practice figures from all four releases often ended up being sold alongside each other.
