Can the Guardians and Rock Lords trust each other long enough to defeat the Renegades?

Synopsis[edit]

Boulder and Solitaire arrived on GoBotron from Quartex to finalize a peace treaty between the Rock Lords, Jewel Lords, and Guardians. Hoping to sow discord, Cy-Kill sent Spoiler and Bug Bite to stir up suspicion between the Guardians and their new allies. In particular they focused on Rock Roller, a Shock Rock whom the Guardians hadn't met before.

At the GoBotolis main power station, Bug Bite caused an explosion that blacked out half the city, originating from an area Rock Roller was last seen in. The ever-suspicious Turbo was prepared to turn on the Rock Lords, but Leader-1 counseled the need for peace. As a show of good will, the Guardians continued the tour of the crucial GoBotron Fortress, despite being on backup power. Once again the Renegades struck, as Spoiler waited until Rock Roller was out of sight to blow the ammunition storage. Leader-1 was knocked out by the blast, which unfortunately put Turbo in charge.

Turbo ordered all the Rock Lords jailed until he could prove Rock Roller's guilt and whether he had any accomplices. Cy-Kill launched an attack on GoBotron, openly praising his "allies" the Rock Lords. Unluckily for Cy-Kill, the Rock Lords freed themselves from the detention cells and joined the fight against the Renegades, despite their mistreatment by the Guardians. A slip from Cop-Tur ruined the ruse entirely, and the Renegades fled from GoBotron.

After Leader-1 recovered, he and Boulder went through with the peace treaty, and Turbo apologized to Rock Roller for mistrusting him.
