Karate Robo (カラテロボ) is a Machine Robo.

Along with Kendō Robo and Jūdō Robo, Karate Robo was one of the council leaders of the Machine Robo based at Emerald City on Cronos. Gather All Machine Robo He personally joined in the battle against Garudi's Spider drones, kicking one to bits, Attack, Land Commander 5! and again when the Gyandlar threatened the base the Machine Robo had set up under the city's frozen lake. Cross Rock's Great Prophecy Karate Robo later tried to co-ordinate the defence of Yamilan after Garudi and some of his troops were able to sneak inside the city in the back of Tough Trailer. 10 Seconds Before the Explosion! Run, Tough Trailer! After Yamilan was bombed out Karate Robo was injured by one of Diondra's aerial mines Escape from the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears! but soon returned to service. Fire! Big Blazer Cannon! Along with Kendō Robo and Jūdō Robo he oversaw the construction of the Battle Base Baikanfu Disappears in Space He later helped in the final battle against the Gyandlar from the bridge of the Battle Base. After the Machine Robo left Cronos and passed a dimensional gateway they re-emerged as the citizens of the Algo Republic on Electronic Planet B-1 with no memory of their previous adventures; Karate Robo became a member of the Red Knights team in the Algo Army, mainly serving on the bridge of the Grand Whale. Burning Electronic Planet He made a rare foray into the field as part of a large multi-team task force led by R. JeTan against a large army gathered by Gakurandar and Kariagen, piloting a Power Riser. Quickly, Gattai Saurer! He was later onboard the Grand Whale as RIM launched it to attack the Gurendos base.Goodbye - Battle Forever

Karate Robo was the 1st figure in Bandai's Martial Arts Robo series, consisting of a folding jet fighter shell and separate inner robot. Karate Robo is styled after a karate gi uniform; the inner robot possesses superlative articulation for the period, with a turning head and waist, plus four moving joints on each limb, enabling it to effectively mimic many of the moves of karate.
  • The figure was never released outside of Japan.

Karate Robo was reissued for the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos toyline in updated packaging. The figure was assigned to the Cronos Tribe, and featured no changes from the original release.
