The inner robot is styled after a Jūdōgi uniform, and possesses superlative articulation for the period, with a turning head and waist, plus four moving joints on each limb, enabling it to effectively mimic many of the moves of Jūdō.
  • The figure was never released outside of Japan.

Notes[edit | edit source]

JudoRoboConcept.jpg
  • Like the other Martial Arts Robo figures, Jūdō Robo was initially conceived as a conventionally-transforming figure before the decision was made to totally rework the toys into poseable figures with shells. Presumably as he was earlier in development, Jūdō Robo only made it as far as a concept sketch but that was radically different to the final figure, with a completely different look including "hair", with the alternate mode a modified Mercedes G-class off-road vehicle in a "safari" colour scheme.
  • Jūdō Robo was never seen to convert in the cartoons.
