  • Jet Transer (1986)
    • ID number: WMR-01
    • Accessories: missiles (2)
Jet Transer was the 1st figure in Bandai's Double Machine Robo series and transforms from robot to McDonnell F-15 Eagle jet and transport truck modules. The jet can clip onto the transport truck. The figure has good shoulder and hip articulation; unfortunately as the truck module is mainly plastic and the jet module has a substantial amount of diecast metal the robot can be top-heavy.

Notes[edit | edit source]

Jet Transer concept art
Jet Transer prototype
  • An early concept for Jet Transer featured a Lockheed F-104J Starfighter as the jet module.
  • A later prototype had the F-15 in place but would undergo some changes before release, including removing the elbow joints and rubber tyres shown in some catalogues, while also moving the rear wheels of the truck down to the ankles of the robot mode.
  • The animation model for Jet Transer's F-15 module is naturally the same as that for Eagle Robo, so Jet Transer may make additional appearances in the cartoons that are impossible to identify.
