Eraser Figurine

The Eraser Figurines are items of GoBots merchandise created by Monogram Products.

Like all modern eraser "character" toys they were largely devised as a way to take advantage of parents, either by positing that 'cool' school equipment could make a reluctant child buck up somehow, or as inexpensive party favours. As such most were graffitied, perforated with compass-induced holes or otherwise mutilated within a week of classes. Which is just as well as they made terrible erasers, being of an unergonomic shape, too hard of consistency and usually leaving ugly smudges of colour on the paper.
