Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos[edit | edit source]

  • Eagle Shot (Vehicle, 1986)
A retool of Galoob's Power Machines Flex, Eagle Shot would have been a non-converting battery-powered four-wheel drive car. Moving the lever on the back of the vehicle causes the wheel hubs to compact, creating a set of off-road tyres. The cockpit could open, allowing Martial Arts Robo figures (except possibly the less flexible Kendō Robo) to sit inside. Boxer Robo is pictured in Machine Robo Wedge; it is not known if he would have been included in the set or is just used for illustrative purposes.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • It is unclear if this design was considered before Battleflex was decided upon or if it was a further retool to get more mileage out of the design licenced from Galoob; if it was the former it was likely abandoned to keep costs down, similar to the version featuring an additional turret (which may have been a concept for Eagle Shot or Battleflex); if it was the latter it is likely Bandai decided against having another big-ticket motorised toy in the line.
  • The name 'Eagle Shot' is taken from the stickers visible on the toy.
