Synopsis[edit | edit source]

BattleHackersE10-052.jpg

The Gurendos attack Crystal City, hoping to capture the Crystalium in its' core to make weapons with. Unknowingly, the Battle Hackers and their human friends Akira, Luke, Patricia, Mia and Zen are launching into space in Big Shuttle Robo and Apollo Robo on an exploratory mission to investigate a possible way back to Earth. In the city Kariagen taunts a helpless Jeep Robo as the Gurendos start extracting the Crystalium, causing a chain reaction of explosions all over Electronic Planet B-1. RIM reports the devastation to Rod Drill and Blue Jet. In space, interference by a meteor startles Patricia, while Rotary Kid and Twincam Jimmy make fun of Zen for being afraid. However, the ships then begin being struck by the meteors - which are actually being controlled by Gakurandar and Suji, who hope to destroy their enemies in space. Piloted by Luke and Mia, Big Shuttle Robo's engines are knocked out while Apollo Robo is forced to take cover with the rest of the Battle Hackers onboard. Mia makes repairs that allow Luke to get them underway again but the Gurendos' mothership opens fire on them, narrowly missing Big Shuttle Robo, and they are forced to hide behind a large asteroid. Zen and Twincam Jimmy head outside to make repairs to Apollo Robo - with the Wheelman saving the boy when he nearly floats off into space. R. JeTan decides that the best course of action is to take the battle to the Gurendos. Meanwhile back on B-1 the Gurendos begin making explosives using the Crystalium - rupturing a water main in the process and causing panic among the Machine Robo. Jeep Robo realises that without cooling the crystals will overheat, and the reaction could destroy the planet entirely.

R. JeTan, Mach Blaster, Drill Crusher, F-One Jack, Hot Rod Joe, Buggy Wolf and Drag Sam use the cover of an asteroid to get close to the Gurendos ship, dodging its' weapons and breaking through the hull. Meanwhile Big Shuttle Robo drops Garzack, Pro Truck Racer, the Battle Riser and Gattai Saurer off on B-1 to try and retake the Crystalium core. Kariagen soon retreats and the few Sitappas not to be destroyed surrender. They celebrate but Supercar Robo and Jeep Robo tell them of the danger posed by the overheating Crystalium. Thankfully the rest of the Battle Hackers make it back to the planet to help prevent catastrophe. R. JeTan grabs the Gurendos' huge bomb and runs towards the core with Jeep Robo and Garzack. They successfully remove the Crystalium from the bombs and lower it back into place, stabilising the core.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Ashi's old favourite the lime-green Ambulance Robo turns up again.
  • In another example of the series' quirks the Sitappas drive trucks which even make reversing noises, use what looks like a large sponge while loading shells on the mothership and carry white flags.
