Synopsis[edit | edit source]

BattleHackersE30-008.jpg

Having trekked through the desert the Battle Hackers have located the Gurendos base. R. JeTan tells his troops the plan - a classic pincer movement after the sun sets and then planting explosives on key points. However they are in for a shock - as they get ready to attack, Mia sees that the base, commanded by Rikimines and Shibumidas, is actually mobile. They vote to attack regardless, believing it to be too good a chance to miss. Roboshooter Gaiden launches Truck Racer Robo, Racer Robo, Rotary Kid, Twincam Jimmy, Police Robo and Hot Rod Joe onto the giant land-ship while R. JeTan and Mach Blaster glide in from above to drop a capsule containing Pro Truck Racer, F-One Jack, Buggy Wolf and Drag Sam on board. Their human friends gain access in the Riser Suits via an exposed bay; Mia nearly doesn't make it in the Power Riser but when a Sitappa spots them she fires a grapple around the unfortunate, pulling herself onboard and sending him crashing off. The Battle Hackers begin stealthily disposing of the other guards, while Legger signals to the following escort tanks that they're not needed. Drill Crusher wrecks the comms so Rikimines and Tsubumidas remain in the dark. Onboard the craft the Gurendos are assembling weapons for their next assault on Crystal City. R. JeTan, Garzack, Drill Crusher, Buggy Wolf, Twincam Jimmy and Rotary Kid find the armoury with Mia and get tooled up before planting a bomb. However, one of the guards they disabled on the way comes around and raises the alarm.

Firefights break out all around the base. Truck Racer Robo gets a boost from Roboshooter Gaiden and flattens a squad of Sitappas in a corridor while Mach Blaster grenades another squad. A stray shell shatters the bridge, infuriating Shibumidas, who comes face-to-face with R. JeTan. The pair fight, and Shibumidas' shield withstands the R. Bazooka only for the Gurendos' sword to slice a pipe, blinding him with steam and allowing R. JeTan to recover. Shibudimas has the better of it until his sword gets stuck in a wall, allowing R. JeTan to fly down and kick his head so hard he explodes. However, the chaos has attracted the attention of Yasand, who is approaching in a transport. The Gurendos reinforcements begin to take back sections of the ship; Mach Blaster tricks Akira into going through a bulkhead, instead opting to fight the troops off and buy his friends time to regroup. Rikimines beats Mach Blaster, who tells them it doesn't matter as the explosives will destroy the craft soon and they will not be able to find them. The other Battle Hackers escape on captured Gurendos buggies while the Gurendos search for all the different explosives. They find some but not all and the craft is destroyed - though Yasand, Rikimines and the captive Mach Blaster are evacuated in the helicopter transport.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Akira and Luke exchange a great pair of worried glances after Mia cheerfully murders a Sitappa.
  • The Sitappas wear goggles while operating heavy machinery, despite their eyes being goggles already.
