Robo Machine[edit | edit source]

  • Bismarck (1986)
    • Accessories: Missiles
Bismarck was released in Europe by Bandai as part of Robo Machine in 1986. The toy was originally released as the DX version of Bismark in Chogokin. The toy only converts in a semi-conventional way, consisting of a large robot and a spaceship (which has spring-loaded missile launchers). The latter could form a cloak-style backpack for the robot, which can even fold around it as armour; conversely the robot can fold inside the spaceship.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Bismarck was the ship/mecha in the anime series Star Musketeer Bismark and repurposed for Robo Machine as a Renegade, likely due to overstock from the Japanese version being shipped over to Europe. The series itself was imported to the West as Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, where the mecha was renamed Ramrod.
