Machine Robo Rescue desperately try to protect the world from Kaiser-G.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

MRRE49-043Cadets.jpg

The Machine Robo watch as Kaiser-G continues to devastate the island. Hyper Jet Robo and Hyper V Stealth Robo take off to attack once again but the lava is driving those on the ground back. Kaiser-G causes a blast from the volcano, knocking Jet and V Stealth out of the sky and tumbling into the lava while also stopping Machine Commander Robo, Hyper Gyro Robo and Submarine Robo from advancing. The transports are at least able to escape with the civilians onboard as Kaiser-G flies off. Machine Commander Robo calls a retreat as the volcano begins to overwhelm the island, and Machine Robo Rescue withdraw - without Taiyoh or Jay. They regroup at Rescue Headquarters but Kaiser-G triggers further eruptions. Determined their friends will reappear, the teams move into action and perform sterling rescue work into the night as freak weather continues around the world. Exhausted and with no word on their friends, the cadets' tempers begin to fray, while Lin continues to insist Jay and Taiyoh will be fine. As another alert sounds they pull themselves together and get ready to go back out. Back on the island, Taiyoh and Jay have indeed survived - though their Machine Robo are out of commission. They decide they have no other choice than to leave them and head into the devastated town and try to find some way of contacting Headquarters.

Back at base, Chief Bitou tells the instructors of his past with Doctor Kaiser before Colonel Hazard contacts them; Kaiser-G broadcasts a message to all of Machine Robo Rescue, but it basically amounts to a taunt and gives little information. Nevertheless the cadets in the field keep their spirits up, with Sayuri even making sure they keep two extra lunches for Taiyoh and Jay. On the island they are able to find a flare on a boat still afloat in the harbour and try to signal a passing ship as their team-mates continue to save countless lives. News of the flare reaches MRR, and Machine Commander is sent out with Ace, Makoto and Daichi onboard, while the others celebrate their friends being safe while they continue to work. However, as Jay and Taiyoh lead their friends back to the Machine Robo, Hazard appears above the volcano with BL Police Robo. Ace forms Machine Commander Robo and activates a ZONE. While they fight Hazard tells Makoto, Jay and Taiyoh that the Disasters are testing the humans to see if they will stick together or act selfishly. A fight breaks out and Jay kicks Hazard in the back of his head, seemingly damaging his circuits before he falls towards a stream of lava, still cackling. Inside the ZONE, Daichi's calculations allow Machine Commander Robo to destroy BL Police Robo. They prepare to get Jet Robo and V Stealth Robo back to base for repairs but Hazard reappears to taunt them, stripped down to his robotic skeleton. Professor Suidōbashi is still having no luck hacking into Kaiser-G's systems, as Hazard tells those on the island that Doctor Kaiser is now fully integrated with the AI system. The Machine AI misinterpreted his orders and would take no orders from a human before it exploded, subsequently incorporating Kaiser into its' system. With that, Hazard finally expires - as Kaiser G appears directly above Rescue Headquarters, heading towards Tokyo. It then sends a huge blast of energy off into space, which grabs a huge asteroid and pulls it towards Earth.
